Stryd should not be used as a pedometer because it will not show you the steps taken for the activity. While the Stryd pod does use steps taken to make certain calculations it does not display steps taken in the Stryd app or on Power Center.
If you would like to know how many steps you took for a given activity you can do this calculation:
Cadence x Minutes = Total Steps
