If the case of your Stryd was chipped, the pod could be lost as it is no longer secure. We recommend using a pod pouch to keep your Stryd from being lost mid-run. Here is a link to one on Amazon for example:
There are actually many Stryders that find this option more convenient than the clips themselves as it provides an easier method of transferring from one shoe to another as well as easier charging.
This type of chip can happen if the front of the pod was clipped into place first, and then too much force was applied to the rear / wide end of the pod to force it into the clip.
What can also happen is that the pod was pulled directly up from the clip with too much force. It is important to sufficiently reduce the tension of the clip by pushing forward/down on the forward tab until the pod is released without any effort. We have seen this happen a few times, most often when Stryd is used with thick elastic laces, as it is more difficult to bend the clip to reduce the tension on the pod.
