The Stryd pod (hardware) is a fully functioning device that saves the run data to itself. This data is then available after the run to be uploaded from the pod to the Stryd Mobile App by performing an offline sync. Here are the steps on how to offline sync your Stryd using the iOS Stryd app (for Android, scroll down).

Garmin / COROS / Apple Watch / Wahoo Users: You should not complete the steps in this article except for in special cases or at the request of Stryd Customer Support.
Suunto + Polar Users: This process should be completed after every run (or least once per week when actively training) in order to retrieve your advanced running metrics such as Air Power, LSS, and more.
- After your run, open the Stryd Mobile App (iOS or Android)
- Under the Profile screen, find and select the gear icon in the upper-righthand corner. It will take you to a screen where you can select 'Stryd' once connected you can 'Sync Stryd' (iOS) or 'Offline Sync' (Android). You can also go to the Calendar screen, find and select the + icon and select 'Sync Stryd' Vids below are from the iPhone.*
Step 1)Step 2)
- Wait until Stryd is done syncing your run data. Make sure the phone does not sleep or navigate away from the sync screen during this process.
- Go to PowerCenter to view your data. It is normal for there to be differences in the footpod memory recorded moving time and metric averages than the watch-recorded version of the same run.
*If you're a Polar/Suunto user who needs to offline sync frequently then you might consider adding the Sync Stryd button to your calendar screen for quicker access.
