The Polar V800 and Vantage watches work great with Stryd, but only records power. The other metrics are still stored on Stryd. There are several ways to use Stryd with the Polar V800 watch:
- Link PowerCenter to PolarFlow. You will get GPS map, power data, heart rate, etc. but not the advanced Stryd metrics such as LSS, VOSC, etc.
- If you prefer not to link PowerCenter to PolarFlow, export your data from PolarFlow and import it into PowerCenter.
- Use the Stryd app on your phone to import your data directly from Stryd. You will get all metrics from Stryd (and thus no GPS map or HR). Since the data comes directly from Stryd, data might be added pre and post run. You can fix this if needed.
- Do both step 1 (or 2) and 3. PowerCenter will attempt to merge the data, giving you all metrics in one data entry. This is not 100% reliable, you might end up with two data entries for one run. You can always delete one entry to keep data for your Improve tab accurate.
