Stryd provides advanced metrics like Ground Contact Time (GCT), Leg Spring Stiffness (LSS), airpower, etc. Polar and Suunto watches do not record these metrics. If you connect the Stryd ecosystem to Suunto, Polar or import your data manually into PowerCenter, the extra metrics will not be displayed. These extra metrics are required for accurate time predictions in the Race Power Calculator.
You complete your data by uploading your data straight from Stryd by doing a sync with the Stryd app on your phone after your run.
Some notes:
A. If you fall out of the range and have an LSS lower than 4 kN/M, your data will not show as our algorithm cut off LSS when it drops below 4 kN/M.
B. If you power hike with your Stryd, you will get power, pace and distance data. However, LSS (and some other metrics) are left out of the data as they are not meaningful at walking pace.
