I now understand this chart! For example, if I move the cursor to 1 hour mark on the horizontal data, the label will shows: Time spent (1 hour), my run data (run title, date, power), and the Power of the Modeled Ability (when Auto-CP Modeled Curve ON). By comparing the Power of Modeled Ability with my run, I can see how far I am from the theoretical potency when running for an hour :)

I don't know anything about GoldenCheetah and just train with free training plan from Garmin Connect. I run for fun and don't know any other fancy chart. I just ignored this Power Duration Curve before because I didn't know what it is for and what to look first. I wished Stryd explained this PDC using an example.

I would like to see this PDC explained better.

I understand it basically but how to apply the info would be useful.

For example, do I move the cursor on the horizontal line to the time I want to run for a 10K for example and use that CP number to run that time?

A detailed explanation with graphics would be awesome.
