Creating a workout
Pairing your Stryd
Pairing screen will show two flashing icons, representing the GPS connection and Stryd footpod connection. Once connected, each icon will stop flashing and the top third of the screen will change from red to green. Press the ‘start’ button and you will be ready to begin your run.
OR by pressing the down arrow you will also be able to access run settings from the pairing screen. This gives you access to;
- Configuring your Data Screen
- Unpair Stryd
- Tone Settings
- Alert Settings
- Power Averaging (for workout alerts)
Executing a Run
From the home menu select ‘Run’, you will be brought to a 4 metric screen. You can customize these metrics from the pairing settings menu as discussed above.
Executing a Workout
Select ‘WORKOUTS’ from the home menu and then select ‘X/2 WORKOUTS’. This will take you to the workout selection menu. From here you will be able to select the desired workout.
After selecting your desired workout you will be brought to the main ‘Training’ Screen (left). This screen displays all data related to your selected workout.
You will be able to switch between back and forth from your normal run screen (right) and training screen with the up/down buttons.
Tones and Alerts
We have also added Tones and Vibrations to help guide you to your desired power ranges. You will only be given an alert when you are entering or exiting your power range. For entering a range you will get two short alerts and for exiting a range you will get one long one. The alerts consist of tones and vibration, which can both disabled individually.
