If you run with a Garmin watch, your watch can potentially pick up power from any Stryd. You can easily fix this by programming the ANT ID of your Stryd into the Stryd Zones data field.
By default, the ANT ID is set to zero in the Stryd Zones data field settings, which means it can pick up power from any Stryd.
You can only find the ANT ID of your Stryd on your Garmin watch under settings > sensors & accessories. Look for FP-xxxx, where xxxx is the ANT ID of your Stryd. You can find more detail here. If you find FP-STRYD, you paired Stryd through Bluetooth which we generally do not recommend.
Once you have found the ANT ID of your Stryd, you need to open up Garmin Connect on your phone. Select your watch. Go to Activities & App Management > Data Fields > Stryd Zones > Settings. You will find a field to enter the ANT ID. Sync the watch once you have made this change!
