When you sign up for the base fitness plan, your critical power may drop. It depends on a few things:
1. CP will go down once old runs are no longer considered after 90 days. If your base plan is shorter, CP will likely remain the same.
2. If you do a 90+ day base fitness plan, and have no races or time trials during that time (which are not part of the plan), your CP may drop.
