In mid-2022, Garmin introduced it's own virtual running power native to all Garmin watches. As long as a Garmin user is using a Garmin heart rate chest strap or Running Dynamics pod, Garmin calculates a running power that is recorded to the activity file and visible in the post-run data.
This Garmin power is distinct and separate from Stryd power. They are not comparable and are not relatable to one another. Stryd's power will also be visible as long as your watch is configured to do so and is also visible in the same post-run data in Garmin Connect, but the average power for the run will not be displayed above it. For Stryd power summary data and more detailed analysis, view this Stryd power data in the Stryd Mobile App.
