Adjusting Training for Summer Weather
Another Stryder asks:
I am wondering whether to adjust Stryd for heat, humidity and wind. My CP of 192 was based from a 60 degree day, but now that temps are getting hotter, holding certain power will feel harder. For example, if the training temperature was 75 degrees with 95% humidity, do I still use the 192 as my CP? What about in windy conditions where sustained winds are 15mph or greater?

If you use a Garmin watch that is compatible with the Stryd Workout App then I recommend checking out this feature: https://blog.stryd.com/2021/11/19/automatically-adjust-temperature-humidity/
You could also explore what kind of power adjustments you should make for a given change in heat and humidity conditions compared to your training conditions using the Stryd Race Power Calculator: https://blog.stryd.com/2020/07/08/announcing-the-race-power-calculator/.
For windy conditions, if you have the latest version of the Stryd (with wind detection), then your power will account for the air resistance you encounter during windy conditions in real time.
